Open Position: Content Intern

Location: Sharpstown-Houston, TX 
Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewelry Content Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of jewelry marketing and content creation, with a special focus on the exciting realm of hip-hop jewelry. You will work closely with our Content Manager to produce engaging and high-quality content that showcases our collections across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and editing product descriptions, blog posts, and social media content.

• Assist with the development of photography and video content for campaigns and promotional materials.

• Research current trends in hip-hop jewelry, helping to inform our product offerings and content strategies.

• Help maintain the brand’s voice and consistency across all communication channels.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for content initiatives.

• Assist in managing content calendars and ensure the timely delivery of assets.

• Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy, helping design templates, and assisting with segmenting email lists.

• Assist with tracking and analyzing email marketing performance, providing basic insights to improve future campaigns.

• Assist with social media content and scheduling.

• Support SMS marketing initiatives, including assisting with SMS copy, creating campaigns, and helping segment customer lists.

• Assist with monitoring and reporting on SMS campaign performance to optimize engagement and conversion rates.

• Update and maintain the website to ensure content is current, accurate, and visually aligned with the brand guidelines.

• Assist with uploading new products, images, and content to the website, optimizing for both SEO and user experience.

• Report directly to the Content Manager, providing regular updates on projects, campaign performance, and content strategy.

• Assist with in-store operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Strong passion for fashion and jewelry.

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok) and digital content strategies.

• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and work independently.

• Familiarity with email marketing and SMS marketing tools (Klaviyo) is a plus.

• Experience with website content management systems (CMS, Shopify) is a plus.

• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is a plus.

• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.

• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.

• Required to work weekends.
